The villa was absolutely gorgeous, very well maintained and beautifully decorated. Our family of 4 stayed there with another family of 4 and we had more than enough rooms and space for everyone. For us it worked out well to be a block away from the beach to have more privacy, in addition to not having to worry about the kids running onto the beach without us. The town itself was perfect for those wanting a true, relaxing, non-touristy get away. Still close to the action when we wanted it, but far enough away to feel like a true vacation. The best part of the trip though, was the incredible staff at the villa.  Luis was our “go to” person for basically anything….tours, cab rides, drinks, interpreting, planning events, bringing gear to the beach, and of course, making things very fun! Make sure you have him teach you to Salsa dance….that was a hit for our family, even the non dancers. Luis is so friendly and very professional as he manages both the guests and the propertyperfectly.  Lili was a fabulous cook! Our kids continually said it was the “best meal ever”. Coming from picky eaters, this was a huge compliment. Lili’s tamales and fish tacos were my favorite, but everything was outstanding. We went to dinner at Marks one night (excellent food, though a bit spendy) but we preferred Lili’s dinners by far! The food costs for our villa meals were also so reasonable. We could  never eat that well at home for the price, as well as the fabulous menu choices. Lili was also so kind, and it is obvious that her love of cooking and people makes her meals extra special.  Angela made the best homemade torillas….we couldn’t get enough of them! She also kept the entire villa clean while also doing our laundry. i don’t know how she kept up with everything between the constant back and forth from the pool and beach……and managing 8
