Named for the papelillos tree, Casa Papelillos represents luxury travel at its finest, comfortably accommodating up to 20 guests. Secluded within a gated enclave of luxury homes in the Ranchos Estates residential community of Punta Mita, our two haciendas were designed by renowned architect, Diego Villaseñor, whose inspired work on Casa Papelillos resulted in a feature in Architectural Digest. A third residence serves as the Hacienda Manager's quarters and office.

During your Puerto Vallarta vacation, one of the most breathtaking experiences is to see Casa Papelillos’ lighted courtyard, which is quite unique. Extraordinary in every way, the two-story main beach vacation rental is appreciated for its generous indoor and outdoor living space. With five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, the 11,300 square foot main hacienda is one of the most highly sought after vacation home rentals at Punta Mita.

Located on the second floor, the Master Suite has a king size bed and an attached space used as either a sitting room or sleeping area for small children. Overlooking the courtyard are two guest bedrooms, one with two queens and the other with a king. On the main level are two bedrooms, each with a pair of twin beds.

Ideal for beach vacations the two-story guest hacienda provides a generous amount of indoor and outdoor living space, as well as impressive vistas of the jungle and distant Sierra Madre Mountains. Spanish for “butterfly”, Mariposa is a magnificent four-bedroom oceanfront rental that provides 3,000 square feet of living space.

The upstairs has two bedrooms with king sized beds. The two main floor suites have two separate rooms—a bedroom and sitting room. Each room has two queen sized beds and a pair of twin beds. Two main floor suites have outdoor showers and four suites have outdoor terraces.

Casa Papelillios has three separate infinity swimming pools in an “aqua courtyard” on two levels, an outdoor, covered Dining Pavilion with seating for 20 and a spacious Living Room Pavilion, all of which offer great views of the Bahia de Banderas and the beach.

With ample seating room for those traveling on a family vacation or corporate retreat the Media Room features a 72” high-definition plasma screen satellite TV, complete with games and iPod-ready surround sound system, and SIRIUS Radio.

The Fitness Room provides a view of the beach, and its built in TVs and sound system help make for a great workout. The spacious kitchen is where Casa Papelillos’ personal chef prepares culinary delights and an island invites guests to converse over hors d’oeuvres or a cup of coffee.

The Ranchos Estates enclave and Punta Mita are monitored 24 hours a day; there is also a beach patrol. The luxurious beach vacation rental provides guests with two vehicles and drivers for outings around Punta Mita.

Trips to Puerto Vallarta can also be arranged for a fee, as can trips to and from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, which serves commercial and private jet travel. The luxury homes and much of the grounds are wheelchair friendly. (616 w; current site has 612 w)

Main Hacienda
Offering incomparable Bay of Banderas views, the main beach villa features five bedrooms (one is a Master Suite) and seven bathrooms.

An outdoor, covered Dining Pavilion provides seating for 20 and offers great vistas of the Bay of Banderas and the beach.
The Living Room Pavilion offers comfortable seating, Bay of Banderas views and also offers high-speed, wireless Internet connectivity.

With ample seating room for those traveling on a family vacation the Media Room features a 72” high-definition plasma screen Star Choice Satellite TV, complete with games and iPod-ready surround sound system, and SIRIUS Radio. A Vonage phone system provides free long distance calling to and from the U.S. and Canada as well as free local calling.

Staying in shape is easy thanks to the Fitness Room, which is equipped with state-of-the-art cardiovascular and weight training equipment. It provides a view of the beach and its built in TVs and sound system help make for a great workout. The room comes with a shower and bathroom, and it is only 50 steps from the outdoor Jacuzzi and the Beach Pavilion.

Guests welcome the easy access to the sand beach where they’ll find comfortable chaise lounges and a full complement of beach games and equipment for hours of play and relaxation.

Guest Hacienda
Excellent for beach vacations the two-story guest hacienda provides a generous amount of indoor and outdoor living space, as well as impressive vistas of the jungle and distant Sierra Madre Mountains.

Called Mariposa, the guest beach vacation rental, features four bedroom suites and four bathrooms. The upstairs has two bedrooms with king sized beds.

The two main floor suites have two separate rooms—a bedroom and sitting room. Each room has two queen sized beds and a pair of twin beds. Two main floor suites have outdoor showers and four suites have outdoor terraces.

Exuding Mexico luxury, the residence also has a rooftop lounging area for private sunbathing and an observatory for stargazing. A path of hand laid stone, which is lighted in the evening, connects the guest hacienda with the main hacienda.

Guests walk through a tropical setting comprised of mature flowering bushes, plants, palms and papelillos trees.

Adding resort luxury to your beach vacations, Casa Papelillos employs a fulltime staff of 10 including a personal chef, wait staff, service personnel and Hacienda Manager on site 24 hours. Guest-suggested menus can be prepared by our private chef with premium wines and spirits available.

Nannies, a massage therapist, a yoga instructor, a manicurist, a surf instructor, snorkeling and dive instructors, and tour guides are available upon request for a fee.

The beach vacation rental provides guests with two vehicles and drivers for local outings around Punta Mita. Trips to Puerto Vallarta can also be arranged for a fee, as can trips to and from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, which serves commercial and private jet travel.

Guests enjoy daily housekeeping and nightly turndown service. Guest experiences are available from outside providers including golf at the two Jack Nicklaus Signature Course layouts at Punta Mita and tennis at Punta Mita.

Guidelines
Total number of overnight guests allowed in our beachfront rental property:
• 18 adults (over 18 years old) and no more than 20 guests including children
• Guests are subject to the rules and regulations of the Ranchos Estates Homeowners Association
• All outside guests planning to visit our vacation home rentals must be approved by the Hacienda Manager for day visits
• Smoking is not allowed inside the luxury homes and their rooms
• Pets are not allowed in our oceanfront rentals without written permission
• Mexican law prevails for those booking Casa Papelillos for a family vacation, honeymoon vacations or corporate retreat
• Guests enjoying Mexico travel waive liability claims against the owner of Casa Papelillos
