Casa Merissa is a very private 8 bedrooms, 8 baths, 2 1/2 baths, romantic hillside hideaway. Casa Merissa is also available as a 10 bedroom, 9 bath, 1 1/2 baths, 14,000 Sq. ft. villa. The villa is nestled between the colonial seaside village of Puerto Vallarta and the lush tropical jungle. Beaches and the center of town are an easy 5 to 10-minute stroll away. From sunrise to sunset, views of the entire bay and village are featured from the villa, pool and terraces. Our 20 x 40 foot tiled pool awaits your mid-day swim. The 9 x 13 foot stone Jacuzzi beckons for a soothing twilight soak. Experience the fragrant flowered terrace gardens that fill Casa Merissa’s grounds. Enjoy catered dining with your own private chef in our formal dining room and lounge. Our chef spends mornings shopping the local produce to ensure that your meals are fresh and of the highest quality.
Breakfast buffet features fresh home baked coffee cakes/muffins, fresh fruit, juices/coffee. Our bartender/waiter will dazzle you with his talents and special flaming dessert coffees. Also included in our full time staff are our sous-chef, houseman, poolman/gardener and housemaid. Our talented full time staff will go out of their way to insure your stay is a special one.

Casa Merissa’s guests have extended privileges (for a small fee, payable locally), at the Continental Plaza/Newcombe Tennis Center. The club features clay courts and indoor hard courts. Professional trainers and ball boys are available. The staff will arrange tee times, tennis court reservations, in-house spa treatments, local tours, restaurant reservations, piñata mariachi parties, etc. Casa Merissa is also a spectacular location for weddings and receptions.

Witness the wild parrots and canaries as they glide from palm tree to palm tree, serenading you with their morning songs. Every evening relax in our lounge or on the terrace during breath taking sunsets, while below, the romantic city lights begin to twinkle. KEYS TO THE VILLA
When you arrive at the Villa, you will be presented with sets of keys. Each bedroom has a lock box for your valuables.

SERVICES OF PRIVATE CHEF
Margaritas, refreshments and appetizers will be waiting for you when you arrive at the Villa. At sunset, dinner
is served in the main dining room. A breakfast buffet is served from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, Monday through Saturday. Our chef is available to prepare and serve dinner. These costs are not included in your stay. Food and beverage costs are currently running $200 to $225 per person per week, depending on food selections and amount of alcohol consumption. There is no service on Sundays unless special arrangements are made.

HOUSEKEEPING
Maid service is provided Monday through Saturday and includes general clean up of the villa: washing of dishes, floors and household linens. There is no in-house laundry service, however the staff can arrange for off site laundry or dry cleaning services.

TELEPHONE & FAX
An in-house phone is available for incoming calls and local calls only. Because of the high cost of international calls, we use a long-distance disabler. Fortunately this controller does allow credit card calls.

ELECTRICITY
Electricity in Mexico is the same as electricity in the United States. No adapters are needed for your electrical appliances.

PURIFIED WATER & ICE
Villa Merissa is on city water, which is reputed to be potable, but we recommend drinking only the purified bottled water. Chilled, bottled drinking water is provided. Our chef uses purified water in his preparations and all ice served is from purified water.

TV & STEREO & INTERNET
Great room featuring a home entertainment system with USA digital satellite, a 54’ HDTV - DVD with 5.1 sound surround with comfortable seating for 20! High Speed Internet access!

BEDS & AIR CONDITIONING
With our 8 bedroom option there are 4 King size, 2 Queen size, 4 Single beds. With our 10 bedroom option there are 6 King size, 2 Queen size, 4 single beds. All beds have european-style comforters. Each room has air conditioning.
